International Trade & Marketing
Introduction
This exchange project will involve an online introduction element over four weeks, followed by a two-week stay in Ireland (in Tullamore, Co Offaly).
During your two weeks in Ireland, you will attend lectures/classes/workshops where our teachers will be there to help you. You will visit some companies in Co Offaly. You will also have some opportunities to experience some Irish social and cultural activities. This will allow you to broaden your horizons and develop an understanding of a different European culture.
In this module you will learn about international trade and marketing. You will work in international teams where you will develop knowledge and skills in the application of marketing strategies to a real-life international scenario.

Detailed program
Preparation (Virtual/online/at home) | Over 4-week period (online) – 1 hour per week Exchange (via email or team chat) personal details with the other EU students (name, age, hobbies, studies, where you live etc). Research 1 Irish/Dutch/Finnish company/business (location, product/service, employee numbers etc) & present your findings Complete research on your own country (population, language, location, current rates of unemployment, inflation and economic growth forecasts. |
